The Eternal Consequences Of Neglecting The Great Salvation Offer Of Jesus Christ
People often wonder why Jesus Christ spent so much time warning us about “the fire (hell) that shall never be quenched” as well as “a horrible place of weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Mark 9:48-49; Luke 16:19-31, Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8). You often hear people querying why Jesus Christ talked more about the fires of hell than about the joys of heaven. The subject of hell is so sobering that many Christians and unbelievers are more comfortable ignoring it. Atheists, Agnostics, Satanists and New Agers do not want to hear any talk about hell. However, the subject of hell deserves to be taken very seriously because it is often absent in Sunday sermons.
As genuine Christians, we should not be reluctant to think seriously about the reality of future punishment for unbelievers and unrepentant sinners. We do not do unredeemed people a favour when we remain silent about the subject of hell. We should follow the example of Jesus Christ who spoke of hell repeatedly. Jesus Christ said that some people would rise from death in “the resurrection of condemnation” (John 5:29). Jesus Christ declared that those who go to hell enter the horrible place where “their worms do not die and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:44-49). He also depicted hell as a place of “outer darkness”, where there “will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 8:12; 22:13; 25:30).
If you are a genuinely born-again Christian, you should talk more about hell with unbelievers and unrepentant sinners. It does not make sense to say you believe in Jesus Christ while rejecting what He and His book (Bible) say about hell or an eternal “lake of fire” (Mark 9:48-49; Luke 16:19-31, Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8). Unredeemed people do not choose hell with a full understanding of what they are doing. They do not have a clear picture of the eternal happiness they will miss or the everlasting separation and darkness they will endure (Matthew 7:13-14, Mark 8:36-37).
Listen to Jesus Christ: “The worms that eat the people in hell never die. In hell the fire is never stopped. Every person will be punished with fire” (Mark 9: 48-49). Did you hear that true statement from Jesus Christ? If you remain as an unrepentant sinner or unbeliever, your entire body as well as your handsome or beautiful face you are very proud of will be disfigured with immortal tormenting worms if you end up in hell after death. You will eternally be tormented in the burning hell. Why can’t you accept Jesus Christ today as your personal Lord and Saviour? Tomorrow may be too late!
You should place your trust for salvation only in Jesus Christ, believing that He paid for your sins when He died on the cross. Jesus Christ rose from death as our eternal Redeemer. When you refuse to believe on Him, you are choosing to stand on your own merits. To be placed on the road to heaven, you must acknowledge your sins, admit that you cannot save yourself and place your trust in Jesus Christ alone (John 3:16). If you have not chosen to believe on Jesus Christ, you are choosing the path to hell. Do not listen to the behaviorists who suggest that you have no real choices of your own. You must reject the New Age thinking that says you are governed by a non-moral Force. You must accept the teaching of the Bible. If you reject Jesus Christ, you will have no right to blame anyone but yourself when you one day find yourself in hell. You will have to admit that you made the wrong choice. You will not be able to blame anybody.
John Lennon was a notorious Satanist when he was alive. He was a great blasphemer against Jesus Christ. He claimed that he and his musical group (“The Beetles”) were more popular than Jesus Christ. John Lennon mocked and made fun of the Lord Jesus while alive. He said that Christianity was going to disappear and Jesus Christ would be forgotten by everyone. However, John Lennon had died for a long time while the living Jesus Christ is still the most popular divine person on earth and Christianity has not disappeared either.
Michael Jackson was a global musical icon while alive. He was idolized all over the world and he loved the adoration of his worldwide fans. Inspite of his great wealth, fame and worldwide idolization, Michael Jackson died without accepting the great salvation offer of Jesus Christ.
Whitney Houston was a successful pop “diva” while alive. She started well as a Christian but unfortunately, she died as a backslider.
Think twice before it is too late to repent. Hell is real! (Mark 9:48-49; Luke 16:19-31, Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8). According to numerous divine revelations experienced by many people all over the world, there are now billions of lost souls in hell. They will be tormented for eternity in hell. Do not join these doomed souls in hell. Your religion, personal efforts or good deeds cannot take you to heaven. It is only by divine grace through Jesus Christ (John 14:6).
You are claiming to be an Atheist, Sceptic, Freethinker, Satanist, Occultist, New Ager, or Agnostic. Your unbelieving disposition is futile. You refuse to accept that hell is real. However, it is real! There is nothing you can do or say that can erase the horror of hell from your mind. You can confirm the reality of hell’s torment by reading Luke 16:22-28.
Hell is for people who are deliberately rebelling against God and His only WAY of escaping the eternal torments of hell. Whether you believe it or not, that only WAY is the LORD JESUS CHRIST. No alternative saviour! No alternative way! “Jesus said to him, I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father (Heavenly God) except through Me” (John 14:6).
Unbelievers and sinners are heading for hell unless they repent from their numerous sins. (Hebrews 9:27). Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and escape hell’s damnation! “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death” (Revelation 21:8). Reincarnation, the false doctrine that the soul enters, after death, into another human body, is a great satanic deception. It will be a great disaster if you die without Jesus Christ! (Mark 8:36). Hell is a place of eternal torment! “The smoke from their burning pain will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest, day or night” (Revelation 14:11).
Do not allow your religious teachings to turn you into a Christ-hater. Jesus is not an angel or a mere prophet like you assumed. Your only hope of making heaven is dependent on accepting the Lordship and Salvation of Jesus Christ. Whether you believe it or not, Jesus Christ is a Supreme Being. “I AM THE ALPHA and THE OMEGA…THE ALMIGHTY” (Revelation 1:8). Jesus Christ loves you so much! He has so many wonderful blessings, promises and gifts He wants to share with you. He has chosen you to be a part of His family forever. However, you must choose Him. He will not make up your mind for you, nor will He force Himself on you. You have a free will to choose whom you will serve: Satan or Jesus. Do not go to hell due to your rebellion.
All of us are sinners, but God loves us enough to offer us the gift of eternal life by allowing Jesus Christ to die for our sins and offer us the gift of life. All we have to do is confess that we are sinners and believe in Jesus! Accept the salvation of Jesus today. No one will get to heaven because he or she is a good person. There is no good deed you can do to earn your salvation (Acts 4:12). Following God’s law or believing that there is a God cannot get you into Heaven.There is only ONE way to Heaven, and it is by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone that we are saved for eternity. “There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under Heaven given among men, by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
If you continually refuse the salvation offer of Jesus Christ, one day you will die and end up in the burning hell. Do not wait until you die to find out the truth about hell! Tomorrow may be too late! “Never brag about what will happen in the future. You don’t know what will happen tomorrow” (Proverbs 27:1). Many people die every second, every minute, every hour and they are going into eternity in either heaven or hell! Death can occur unexpectedly through an automobile accident, heart attack, stroke, assassination, etc. Death can also occur deliberately through suicide! If you die without Jesus Christ, it will be the worst mistake you could possibly make! Has there ever come a time and place in your life, when you received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour? If not, you are on the way to hell! Do not let anyone convince you that when you die, it will be all over! Eternal torment in hell is certain without Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.
If you commit suicide due to frustration or any great challenge, you will end up in hell! It will not be over, but your great suffering will continue for eternity in hell! Judgment is certain if you die as an unrepentant sinner or unbeliever (Hebrews 9:27). Do not reject the great salvation offer of Jesus Christ. You are heading for hell unless your name is written in the Book of Life in Heaven as a redeemed person through Christ redemption.“And if a person’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, then that person was thrown into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15).
Satan, the deceiver and his fallen angels/demons will be thrown and confined totally into the lake of fire and sulfur eventually by God. They will be tormented forever. That will be the end of Satan’s evil activities on earth forever. “The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and sulfur…and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever” (Revelation 20:10). You will be eternally separated from God in the lake of fire and sulfur. Your soul will never die but it will be eternally tormented in the horrible burning lake. “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death” (Revelation 21:8).
Jesus Christ is the only way to make Heaven and escape from going to hell when you die (John 14:6). The lake of fire and sulfur will be a place of eternal torment. It will be very terrible for Satan, demons and the lost souls in that eternal burning lake. Do not end up in it! The second death is eternal separation from God in the lake of fire and sulfur (Revelation 21:8). Listen to what Jesus Christ is saying to you now: “Do not be afraid! I am the First and the Last. I am the One who lives. I was dead, but look: I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and hell” (Revelation 1:17-18). God does not send someone to hell. You choose hell when you refuse to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour.
When you refuse God’s love gift of eternal life in Jesus, you willingly choose hell. Your soul will be tormented for eternity in hell when you die. When you say “No” to Jesus and His payment for your sins, you are saying that you are looking forward to dying and being cast into hell. You are telling God that you do not need Jesus Christ. You will pay for your sins in hell. Hell is for eternity! If you die without accepting the salvation of Jesus Christ, you will be tormented in hell forever! You will despair of ever having any deliverance! You will beg for death to come and take you away! However, you can only die once (Hebrews 9:27). Purgatory is a false doctrine. Reincarnation is a great satanic deception. Do not let Satan deceive you with false doctrines again.
It will be a great disaster if you die without Jesus Christ (Mark 8:36). Hell is a place of eternal torment! “The smoke from their burning pain will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest, day or night” (Revelation 14:11). God has a perfect place for you in heaven: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no person has imagined what God has prepared for those people that love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Avoid hell. Jesus is your only way of making heaven. It will not cost you anything to accept Jesus as your personal Saviour. Accept Jesus while you are still alive. It will be too late if you die and end up in hell. Take the right decision now. “The salvation that was given to us is very great. So surely we also will be punished if we live like this salvation is not important” (Hebrews 2:3).
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, ask Him to save you now! Confess all your sins and ask God to forgive you in Jesus name. Do not put it off another second! This may be your last chance before you die! Take the chance now! The salvation of Jesus is very important. Remain steadfast. Heaven will be your eternal home in Jesus name. It is very easy to accept the salvation of Jesus Christ. To accept Jesus as your personal Saviour, pray this prayer, and mean it with all your heart: “Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and unless you save me, I am lost forever. I thank you for dying for me at Calvary. I come to you now Lord the best way I know how, and ask you to save me. I now receive you as my personal Lord and Saviour. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen”.
Take these easy steps to be saved: Realize you are a sinner. “There is no person without sin. None!” (Romans 3:10). “All people have sinned and are not good enough for God’s glory” (Romans 3:23). Realize you cannot save yourself. “We are all dirty with sin. Even our good works are not pure. They are like blood-stained rags” (Isaiah 64:6). “He saved us because of His mercy (love), not because of any good things we did” (Titus 3:5). Realize that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for your sins. “Christ carried our sins in his body on the cross. He did this so that we would stop living for sin and live for what is right” (1 Peter 2:24). “Jesus is the one who loves us. And Jesus is the One who made us free from our sins with his blood (death)” (Revelation 1:5). Simply by faith receive Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. “Some people did accept Him. They believed in Him. He gave something to those people who believed. He gave them the right to become children of God” (John 1:12). “…Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and all these people from your house” (Acts 16:30-31). “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
